The National League North will contain five new opponents for Harriers to face during the 2018/19 season.
These teams replace Salford City and Harrogate Town who were promoted to the National League, and Gainsborough Trinity, Tamworth and North Ferriby United who were relegated.
The new sides are contain two teams relegated from the National League, two promoted from the Northern Premier and one promoted from the Southern Premier join the 17 teams remaining in the National League North from the 2017/18 season.
One familiar foe that Harriers will be facing is Hereford FC, a phoenix club that formed following the demise of Hereford United.
Harriers had countless encounters with United throughout the two clubs’ histories, facing each other a total of over 75 times in league and cup competitions.
The most recent match-up took place shortly before the club reformed on 28th January 2014 in the Conference, ending in a 1-1 draw at Edgar Street.
Harriers have faced Hereford FC once, which was during the 2016/17 pre-season in the Steve Millington Memorial Cup, Harriers winning the match 4-1.
Hereford FC head into the National League North on the back of three promotions in three seasons, following title winning seasons in the Midland Football League Premier Division (2015/16), Southern League South and East (2016/17) and Southern League Premier Division (2017/18).
The 2017/18 season was emphatic for the Bulls, finishing the season on 113 points from 46 matches, ensuring the league title was sealed.
Additionally, the season was filled with cup action as they reached the Second Round of the Emirates FA Cup facing Fleetwood Town at Highbury Stadium, taking the Cod Army to a replay after a 1-1 draw thanks to a goal from ex-Harrier Calvin Dinsley.
