Harriers Ladies recorded an important win on Sunday afternoon against local rivals, Stourbridge.
The match was the second league meeting of the two sides during the current season - the first saw Harriers leave it late to claim a 3-2 victory in December.
Looking for their second win of the season against The Glassgirls, Harriers took an early lead with a superb Kirstie Bavington strike with the outside of her boot from the edge of the area - it flew into the top corner giving the keeper no chance.
Stourbridge brought the best out of Harriers keeper, Hannah Tromans - the stopper was called into action a couple of times with balls needing to be pushed over the bar to keep the Ladies in front.
Stourbridge did, however, draw level from a superb set piece- a free kick from 30 yards flew through the air, swerving past Tromans and into the top corner.
Both teams created chances before the interval, but neither could find a goal to put themselves into the lead until three minutes into the second half, where Harriers would hit the front.
Amber Lawrence struck a fierce long range shot that went over the keeper's head and into the net.
A third arrived half an hour later - Bavington grabbing her second and her team's third by whipping a corner into the box, which flew straight into the net.
Numerous chances were created before the end of the game but a fine passing move and cross into the box saw Alex Nicklin head into the net to seal a 4-1 victory.
