RUSS Penn admits he can't wait for the buzz of pre-season training to kick in next week.
The Aggborough boss finally welcomes his staff and players back to the training ground on Monday for the first session of the summer.
It brings to an end the longest break from active football for those associated with the club, and the gaffer was clearly itching to get going when he spoke to the YouTube channel ahead of the re-start.
He says he functions best in a team environment, so is pleased to be seeing everyone again come Monday morning.
He sad: "I'm buzzing and I can't wait, it has been a long drag, let's be honest!
"It's good to know we have a start date now so we can just kick on and prepare ourselves as best we can.
"Everyone has gone through their tough times and battles around the COVID pandemic, but I've been brought up around a team ethic and it's good to be around the lads, the staff and the buzz of it.
"The quicker we're back, the better for everybody!"
