Harriers Academy coaches Harry Butler and Jimmy Beardsmore are to run a marathon, with the aim of raising money for Russ Penn's first team budget.
The pair have long been associated with the club, first as supporters, then as age-group coaches within the club's thriving Junior Academy.
The pair aim to complete a marathon, starting at Harriers' furthest away partner school - Bosbury Primary School - running 26 miles from Herefordshire, over the Malvern Hills and through Worcester, before arriving at Aggborough Stadium to coincide with the club's first home game of the season in October.
Butler, who is part of the coaching staff for Harriers' U19s and U13s, commented: "The idea came about in lockdown when we saw the club pushing the Boost The Budget campaign and we wanted to do a little bit more about it to help the club out.
"It's exciting times and there seems to be a real buzz about the place, so me and Jimmy just wanted to help out.
"We wanted to give something back to the club as they've really looked after us during lock down and the pandemic.
