Club legend Stewart Logan passed away in 2023 at the age of 85.
As a keen sports player and fan, Stewart was known throughout the area, not least for the 16 years he spent with Harriers, starting as youth in 1954 after leaving school.
Progressing through the youth and reserve ranks and to the first team, he made the better part of 400 starts for the first team alone, scoring three times, before retiring in 1970, having been a huge part of our successful sides in the prior decade.
Apart from a brief spell playing for Worcester, defender Stewart spent his entire career as a Harrier and, after hanging up his boots, continued to support the club. He attended matches at Aggborough season after season, and even celebrated his 85th birthday at our match against Darlington back in November.
As well as being back at his old stomping ground frequently, Stewart was never a stranger at the town's other sporting venues and was a regular watcher of cricket at Chester Road.
