CONGRATULATIONS to Holy Trinity School on representing Harriers at a national final!
Following on from their success of winning the Premier League Primary Stars Under 11 National Girls Football Tournament qualifiers 2025 at West Bromwich Albion, Holy Trinity School when on to represent Kidderminster Harriers at the national final being held at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Over the past school year, more than 1,200 schools and 9,000 players took part in numerous qualifying tournaments to be one of the 20 schools to take part in the Premier League Primary Stars National Girls Football Tournament at Molineux Stadium.
This gave the girls the opportunity of playing against other schools represented by 20 different clubs from the Premier League, EFL and National League. Our team played against schools representing Liverpool, Brighton Hove Albion, Brentford and Huddersfield Town.
One pupil said she: "Enjoyed the overall experience of the day and getting the getting to play on the pitch at the Molineux Stadium."
As well as playing on the pitch, the pupils were able to experience walking out of the tunnel onto the pitch and having their photo taken with the Premier League Trophy in the home dressing room.
Becky Butler, Kidderminster Harriers Community Trust Coach, said: "The girls have done so well to get through the national final. As a club we are proud of how the girls conducted themselves throughout the day.
"They should be proud of themselves and the memories they've created to share with others."
Congratulations to the overall winner of the competition, Willows Timperley School, who represented Altrincham FC.
Currently, 103 professional football clubs from across the leagues run different Premier League Primary Stars sessions in local partner schools.
More than 70,000 teachers have signed up to access free online resources. The program provides teachers and parents with downloadable resources across a range of curriculum subjects at stage 1 (age 5-7) and key stage 2 (age 7-11), developed by teachers for teachers, and in Collaboration with National Literacy Trust and the PSHE Association.
