Arthur Millward was a founder member of Harriers and vice-captain of the club’s first Association football team.
He scored the first recorded Harriers goal under Association rules during the 2-1 victory at Wilden on 18 September 1886. Millward later became Kidderminster’s first representative on the executive of the Birmingham County Football Association in 1897.
His place in club history is therefore secured both as an early player and as one of Harriers’ first representatives within the administration of the wider game.
