OUR sponsors, West Midlands Safari Park, are excited to announce that popular children's TV characters will be coming to meet and greet guests this February half term.
The nine-day event, running from Saturday 14th to Sunday 22nd February 2026, will start with a first-time appearance from Gabby of Gabby's Dollhouse, whose popularity has soared following the success of the hit series and feature-length film.
Bringing the event to a close is the ever-popular Bluey, whose previous appearances at the Park were fully booked last year, proving her enduring appeal with families and young fans alike.
PAW Patrol Character Chase, Paddington, and Peppa Pig, will also be returning, alongside first-time appearances from globally iconic SpongeBob SquarePants.
The characters will be making personal appearances at ticketed meet and greet sessions in the Park's Safari Academy (at no additional cost to admission tickets) on the following dates:
- Gabby's Dollhouse: 14 & 15 February
- Paddington: 16 February
- SpongeBob Squarepants: 17 February
- PAW Patrol's Chase: 18 February
- Peppa Pig: 19 & 20 February
- Bluey: 21 & 22 February
During the meet and greet session, guests in their group of up to six people will be able to meet and interact with the character, and take a picture with them.
As well as the opportunity to meet a special character this half term, the Park's conservation team is championing penguins and highlighting the amazing work they support with conservation partner, the Global Penguin Society.
Penguins are one of the most vulnerable seabirds with climate change, reduced food availability due to overfishing, and habitat destruction threatening their existence in the wild.
Guests will have the opportunity to learn more about these fantastic birds, make their penguin pledge, earn a special sticker and help raise money towards the society's efforts to protect all penguins in the wild.
Character appearances, the four-mile Safari Drive, walk-through areas animal talks and encounters, are all included in the admission charge, and children under the age of three are free.
Guests are encouraged to book online in advance for the best prices, and a pre-booked time slot for the meet and greet sessions is essential.
February half term also marks the daily reopening of the Park, including the Adventure Theme Park.
Rides are charged extra. Admission includes a Free Return visit again within six months, only when booking online in advance.
