HARRIERS can confirm the signing of experienced goalkeeper Dave Richards on a short-term deal.
The 32-year-old left Scottish Premier League outfit Dundee United this summer having spent the last two seasons there, and counts Crewe, Bristol City and Cheltenham among his other clubs.
With incoming Harriers goalkeeper Jack Wint due to link back up with the Reds after the weekend, Richards has been added to the squad on a short-term basis to add further experience ahead of Saturday’s opener at Hornchurch.
Boss Paul Wotton said: “With Jack not joining us until Monday, it’s a little bit of a unique situation, but I am really happy to be able to get Dave on board.
“He’s an experienced goalkeeper, a leader and a brilliant character to have around the group.
“We’re thrilled to get him in.”
