Callum, 24, joined us on loan from Shrewsbury Town from August until November and, hungry to play and score ahead of the new National League season. As a rising star in the United Counties league scene, he rocketed in 79 goals in 84 games for Coventry Sphinx, earning him a move to Leamington in 2023. 22 goals in a promotion season for the Brakes took player and club to the National League North where 15 more followed before the turn of the year, Shrewsbury landing his signature in January 2025. He’s since made 23 appearances at EFL level, and spent time out on loan at Brackley and Aldershot last term. Now, though, he’s ready to sink his teeth into a temporary switch to the Reds

CALLUM Stewart has quickly impressed boss Paul Wotton with an “infectious” energy around the Harriers camp. Stewart joined the Reds on the eve of the new season, penning loan terms from Shrewsbury Town. Making a debut a day later at Hornchurch, he was handed his first start in Saturday’s 1-0 win over Eastleigh and was busy throughout. He had a hand in the winner, too – supplying the cross for Levi Amantchi’s winning goal. Reflecting on Stewart’s tenacity – and composure – Wotton said: “…There was that endeavour and fight to win the ball back. “Cally Stewart showed a bit of quality, very calm. We got into that area in the game a few times and we didn't show that calmness, and he did a nice little cutback and an easy finish for Levi.

“He was bright. I thought he showed glimpses when he came on at Hornchurch as well. “What I like about him is he's very infectious. He's a good character, a bubbly character. “I think we needed that last week because it's very easy to feel sorry for yourself in football, very easy to be down and doom and gloom. “Callum's always smiling and he's bouncing around. He's quite an infectious character, which is lovely around the group because, like any group of men, you've got your miserable ones and your happy ones and your bright ones and the ones who are not so bright! “Callum is bright and I thought he worked tremendously hard.” Stewart faces former club Aldershot on Saturday - he spent a loan stint with the Shots last season, featuring ten times and scoring once.
