With the new academic year underway, aspiring young footballers who have yet to secure the right pathway for their football and education journey can still apply to join the Kidderminster Harriers Post-16 Football Education Programme, delivered in partnership with Kidderminster College.
Based at the Centre of Sporting Excellence, Kidderminster, our programmes are designed for players who want to continue developing their football, achieve academically and build a pathway towards the professional game or a career in the wider sports industry.
Based at the Centre of Sporting Excellence in Kidderminster, students benefit from high-quality coaching and the opportunity to develop within a professional football environment, working alongside experienced coaches, including former professional players.
Develop your football
Players on the programme can access a range of opportunities designed to support their progression, including:
Male U19 football
FA Youth Cup opportunities
Semi-professional and first-team pathway opportunities
Links with professional EFL clubs and potential trial opportunities
England College (ECFA) selection opportunities
A working relationship with St George’s Park and The FA
Continue your education
Alongside their football, students can study Sport programmes through Kidderminster College, with options including:
Level 3 Extended Diploma (equivalent to three A-Levels)
It’s an opportunity to combine football development and education in one pathway, while gaining valuable experience that can help prepare you for your next step.
